Karen Matamoros is a coach helping parents create freedom in life, business and homeschooling while creating daily flow and cultivating their relationship with their children. At the core of her work, she believes in catering to the child as a whole, and thus she offers kids and teens classes that cater to the entrepreneurial spirit and to help children grow into their dreams. She has also founded Project: KAring, an alternative education portal for kids focused on the body, mind, and soul. She created this community to make free form education easily accessible to every child, though a directory, forums and scholarships. A few years ago, she decided to sell her 6-figure business to start unschooling her two daughters on the road full time and has been traveling the world ever since.
She has had a lifelong passion for the self-help and spiritual world, has studied under many masters in areas such as reiki, meditation, intuitive studies, theology, etc., and has even been ordained as a minister of Medicines Signs Spiritual Center (follow her introspective thoughts on FB ). She has also taught unique courses for children in co-ops and centers and has had the honor of having her writings published by reputable places like Elephant Journal.
Karen is an artist, whose first business centered around creating beautiful murals on exterior walls or to transform kid’s bedrooms. Also, a self-proclaimed tinker fairy, and jokes about being able to build you a house. A few years ago, she decided to start unschooling her two daughters on the road full time (follow her travels on Instagram , Facebook or Youtube)and has been traveling the world ever since.
